BABY DEDICATION Class: Sat. 4/10 at 5:00pm in the North Venue or via Zoom Baby Dedication will be held the weekend of 5/8 & 5/9 (Depending on Covid restrictions we may have an additional service on 5/8 at 3:00pm in the MPV) This orientation class helps parents understand the key elements of why and how we do baby dedications at Water of Life. Childcare is provided with Empowered Kids. Because of the importance of the information given in class we ask that no babies be brought into the classroom. CONFIDENT PARENTING Sun. 4/18 from 2:00pm-5:00pm in the Multipurpose Venue Every family ends up somewhere, but not every family ends up somewhere on purpose. Confident Parenting is an excellent strategy for raising responsible kids who make healthy decisions. Topics that are covered are Finding Replenishment for Overcrowded Lives, Overcoming Negative Family Patterns, Creating a Grace-Filled Home, Communication, and Raising Kids Who Love God, as well as a strategy to create a healthy family atmosphere. Unfortunately, most people parent their kids by circumstance and chance. This course offers a comprehensive approach to developing a healthy God-honoring parenting philosophy. Facilitated by our Pastor of Family Ministries, Matt France and his wife, Monika. Cost is $20 per couple, $15 for an individual. Late lunch and childcare provided. Register online. CREATING AN INTIMATE MARRIAGE Sun. 6/6 from 2:00pm-5:00pm in the Multipurpose Venue This workshop is for married couples. For most couples, developing intimacy and drawing closer together doesn’t come easy. However, it is very possible to refresh and improve your marriage. In this workshop, you will learn to set the tone and atmosphere in your relationship and to create spiritual intimacy as well as work on the issues that can keep a marriage from thriving. Join Water of Life’s Family Ministries Pastor, Matt France and his wife, Monika, as they lead a discussion about Creating an Intimate Marriage. Some of the topics to be covered are: Making Your Marriage a Priority, Rekindling Spiritual Intimacy, Improving Communication, Resolving Conflicts, Growing Together Spiritually, Fun in Your Marriage, Creative Dates…and much more! If you have ever felt your marriage moving toward stale, this workshop is for you. It is presented in a fun, enjoyable, practical, and grace-filled manner.
