COURSE OVERVIEW

SPECIALIZED TRACK PROGRAM

The Specialized Track Program The teaching program is divided into three (3) tracks. You will take one track each quarter. In addition, you will need to complete a set of core classes in partnership with the program in order to graduate. Upon satisfactory completion of all three tracks and the Core Classes, you will be awarded a Certificate of Completion. The minimum age requirement is 18 years of age.

Classes meet via Zoom on Tuesday evenings from 6:10pm-9:10pm.

Track Programs • The Bible Track with Grant Millikan, M.A. —Two-Year Program • The Outreach Track with Pastor Norm Brinkley —One-Year Program—ON HOLD UNTIL FALL 2021 • The Shepherd’s Staff Caregiving Track with Pastor Nico Mendez —One-Year Program • The Worship Track with Worship Leader & Recording Artist, Sherri Bryant —One-Year Program

Core Classes (offered free of charge online at wateroflifecc.org) • Discovering Water of Life (DWOL)— if you attend Water of Life Community Church • WOL Mission & Core Values • Ministry & Gifts of the Holy Spirit • Gifts of the Spirit • Ministry Team Training

Curriculum Course curriculum is an important part of your School of Ministry experience. It allows you to follow along with class instruction and provides a resource for you to refer back to upon completion of the course. Class materials include a School of Ministry tote bag, School of Ministry binder with all written material, and any books needed for your track courses. Exams There are several different forms of exams used in the Specialized Tracks. Essays, projects or presentations will be specific to the subject matter and graded based on pre-determined grading scales set by the instructors.

Ministry Placement The Specialized Tracks incorporate ministry placement in the program. Opportunities to serve are offered specific to your specialized track area.
