Next Steps is the clear path for you to get connected and grow here at Water of Life. You may be wondering, “Ok, so I’m a follower of Jesus, now what do I do?” We want to come alongside you and help you take your Next Step on your journey of following Jesus. Here are four Next Steps to take as a new follower of Jesus:

THE “JOURNEY WITH JESUS” CLASS

Once per month, we offer this class for those who are new to following Jesus. Discover the basics of what this faith journey with Jesus looks like. Through engaging teaching and interactive discussion, you will gain insights and answers to the following questions:

• What is the Christian message? • What does it mean to be a Christian? • What does it practically look like to have faith?

Whether you are brand new to the faith or have recommitted your life to Jesus, this class is an important first step on your spiritual journey. BAPTISM Baptisms at Water of Life are a big celebration, and it is the next step for anyone who commits their life to trust and follow Jesus. Baptism is the outward symbol of an inward commitment to surrender your life to Jesus and live for Him as your King. 2

The Baptism class is required in order to get baptized at Water of Life. As soon as you have committed your life to Jesus, you can and should be baptized.
